Programs for Young People
Youthsafe has an Educator’s Kit titled “What’s the Plan?”. This kit is designed to support educators in delivering safe celebrating sessions to young people. “What’s the Plan?” includes vox-pop style interviews with a range of young people, focusing on what they do when they go out, what they’d like to change and how they can make that change happen. The kit also includes a CD-Rom containing support materials including session plans, downloadable comic strips of the DVD characters, activity sheets, fact sheets and educator’s notes with suggestions for program sessions and activities. For more information about this kit, direct your local community group or school to our website “What’s the Plan?”

Programs for Parents
Youthsafe can also support your school or community in preparing a ‘safe party’ workshop for parents and families. This workshop can run in conjunction with a “What’s the Plan?” session for young people, to support a wider community approach to safe celebrating. Youthsafe can help with presentation content, workshop activities, handouts and resources including providing our free Safe Celebrating fact sheet
