Factsheet - Helping teenagers become safer drivers PDF Print E-mail

If you need some tips on how to help your young person learn to drive safely, then this fact sheet is for you. It contains facts about young drivers and road crashes, reference to the newly legislated zero blood alcohol limit and current research findings on driver distraction.

This fact sheet is available in English, Chinese and Arabic. Please note that new licence conditions relating to L, P1 and P2 drivers come into effect 1 July 2007. Youthsafe is currently updating the Chinese and Arabic versions of the fact sheet, so we strongly recommend you contact the RTA to find out more information about how these laws may affect your young driver – call the RTA on 13 22 13 or visit their website www.rta.nsw.gov.au.
