Factsheet for parents

Youthsafe has developed a fact sheet designed for parents to help discuss workplace safety with their teenagers. Young workers are at a greater risk of injury due to a number of factors including inexperience, a lack of information about workplace rights and safety and being placed in work environments with limited safety procedures. This factsheet aims to support parents to help make young people's first experiences of work safe and positive, providing a foundation for the rest of their working lives.
