Supervising Young Workers Induction Session

If you are a supervisor you are responsible for the carrying out of work in a safe manner in the workplace. (SafeWork NSW 2022)

An effective supervisor is intentional and purposeful in promoting health and safety. (Safe Work Australia 2017)

Our succinct online induction session for workplace supervisors new to supervising young workers is available free.

The session provides supervisors with key practical strategies to increase their influence on young workers for improved safety.

It provides facts about the high rate of young worker injuries; insights into the behaviours and attitudes that give rise to those injuries and a toolkit of practical mentoring strategies to enhance the supervisor’s capability to influence young workers and more effectively manage young worker risk.

National Road Safety
Week 2024
